Other retailers are also likely to have limited stock available online as and when they receive more supplies. Both the standard console (with disc drive) and its digital-only variant will be available for purchase, but only while stocks last.

As of right now, gamers will find it nigh-on impossible to simply walk into a store and purchase a PS5 on launch day without pre-ordering beforehand. Gamers lucky enough to secure a PS5 will have a wealth of launch titles to keep them busy this holiday, with games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Astro’s Playroom and Marvel’s Spiderman: Miles Morales.
