Containing eight retro figures, you can pick up the Final Fantasy 7 Polygon Figure set for $64. The majority of the main cast are included, such as Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Red XIII, Sephiroth and Reno. There’s also a special hidden figure that I’ll keep a surprise for those who don’t want it spoiled. You can search to find the answer in a matter of seconds, though. Remember, though, that as these come in a blind box. You aren’t guaranteed to get the entire collection. You’ll be receiving eight random figures, so could very easily end up with a few duplicates.

I think it’s a bit of a cheeky move from Square Enix. It’s a lot of money to hand over without the guarantee of the receiving full set and encourages multiple purchases if you want them all.  Your best bet, then, is to find a few friends who are all planning to buy them and trade any dupes between you. Or wait until after launch and try to pick them up individually from other sellers. Or, I dunno, you may be happy to have six Red XIII’s on your shelf. It doesn’t sound too disastrous to me. It’s a fitting time for the launch, considering the excitement that still lingers following the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Many have probably moved on to other games already, but that rug pull of an ending still lingers in my mind. Part 2 is coming when?
