By now, anyone who wants to check the leaked Team Fortress 2 source code can. Though Valve did confirm that it’s from 2017, and doesn’t pose a security risk, this won’t stop people from poking and prodding. Twitter user @TailorTF dug up some lines from the leaked code. The lines of code themselves aren’t the issue, rather the comments accompanying them. Developers leave comments on their colleagues’ work all the time, of course, but these are inflammatory. “This shit doesn’t work! Why? Has I ever?,” reads one comment. A more aggressive, insulting comment is an instruction to a colleague that would get whoever left it a talking to. “Make the unbumped version not so fucking stupid and not need tangentSpaceTranspose you knob,” it reads.
