Work on Universal’s Epic Universe park, which will house Super Nintendo World Orlando, came to a halt in July 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions, but in a press release issued on March 3 – reported by Orlando Informer – Universal said that work is set to restart “immediately.” During a recent conference at bank Morgan Stanley, the CEO of Universal parent company Comcast, Brian Roberts, said he was excited about Super Nintendo World. “We have high, high hopes for what it means," he said. “It’s a whole interactive gaming experience. We’ve been investing in parks and hotels, so as we look at the next 10 years, it’s hard not to see an exciting road map ahead for the parks business.” Nintendo revealed what to expect at its Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan at the end of 2020 with a tour from none other than Shigeru Miyamoto. This location opened its doors in February of this year. You can also take a virtual tour of the theme park. In addition, there are plans for Super Nintendo World theme parks in Hollywood and Singapore.
