Following on from last year’s debut trailer, STALKER 2 developer GSC Gameworld has released another in-engine look at the Zone, the game’s irradiated world. The trailer is presented entirely in first-person, chronicling one STALKER’s trip across the Zone. His name is Skif, and the press release hints at him being the game’s main protagonist, but doesn’t offer any details besides. Update 1.5 has been in the works for Stardew Valley for quite some time, and we now know one of the new features it will contain. Back in 2015, Nintendo partnered with the theme-park to create attractions based on its games and IPs. The first park attraction opened in Osaka, Japan last year on February 4. It was originally set to open alongside the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, but plans were scrapped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Because of the pandemic, construction on the Hollywood and Orlando locations was halted, but it appears progress is being made on at least the Hollywood attraction....

Those with a Switch Online subscription will have four new SENES games to play starting on February 19. The two SNES games, Pop’n TwinBee and Smash Tennis will be available for the first time in the US. The developer has now revealed that it’s parting ways with Take-Two, leaving it with a few options as to how to proceed. According to People Can Fly’s announcement, Take-Two shared its intent to terminate the relationship in a letter to the studio. The GTA publisher has been funding the project since it began, with People Can Fly’s New York team spearheading development. The terms of the settlement were not revealed, as it appears they’re yet to be decided....
According to a Klei Entertainment forum post, the Candian studio’s founder Jamie Cheng said the partnership will help the studio “navigate a changing industry,” and allow it to “focus on what we want to do best” (thanks, Gematsu). As part of this agreement, Klei will retain full autonomy of creative and operations across all aspects of the studio, including projects, talent, and more.
