Red Dead Online launched as part of Red Dead Redemption 2 back in May 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, before coming to PC and Google Stadia when the title was released for those platforms that November. Back in September 2019, we caught up with the game’s lead open world design Scott Butchard to talk about the future of Red Dead Online. A standalone version of Red Dead Online was rolled out on December 1, 2020. This is currently just $4.99, a rather aggressive introductory offer that’s 75% below the game’s regular price. This will be changing on February 15.
