Monster Hunter Rise is out today with plenty of monsters to fight, but there are more beasts on the horizon. Next month in a post-launch update, Capcom will add Apex Rathalos which you can get a look at toward the end of the launch trailer posted below. As part of April’s Title Update Version 2, Apex Rathalos will be joining Chameleos as the next monster to fight. In a post on Xbox Wire, the firm said that you’ll be able to download games that haven’t been released yet via the Game Pass app on. You just need to head to the ‘Coming soon’ section to find upcoming titles. According to a report from VGC, multiple sources have confirmed the game company’s plans to remaster titles from the 35 year-old franchise. Eurogamer has additionally confirmed these remasters will include 1997’s Super Mario 64, 2002’s Super Mario Sunshine, and 2007’s Super Mario Galaxy. A new instalment of Paper Mario and a deluxe version of 2013’s Super Mario 3D World are also allegedly in the works. The Super Mario 35th Anniversary reveal was initially set to take place during E3 2020, prior to the event’s cancellation due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic....
Japanese platform holder, Nintendo, is now facing a Switch Joy-Con lawsuit in Canada. As spotted by IGN, Quebec-based law firm Lambert Avocat has started recruiting for a class-action lawsuit against Nintendo over the infamous issue with the Switch controllers as of January 15. The organisation says that Joy-Con Drift “constitutes an important, serious and hidden defect.” “Hence, Nintendo failed to mention an important fact in a representation made to a consumer: the quality of its products, which is a key element likely to affect the consumer’s informed decision in purchasing a product,” it wrote on its website....

Omen is the Reaper-looking, purple-hooded character in Valorant. Today, Riot dropped a first-look trailer showing off his abilities. Omen’s main ability is Shrouded Step, which lets him mark a location in the 3D world and teleport to it. Paranoia is a confusion ability that allows him to fire off projectiles that blind anyone they touch, and can even pass through walls. As with most Valorant heroes, Omen also has a walling ability called Dark Cover....
While you’ve gone toe-to-toe with some giant bosses already - you’ve never faced anything quite as angry as the Chrysaloid so far. This is a multi-phased battle, just like the Molten Acari at the top of the volcano, and requires some careful tinkering with your loadout to defeat. At first, because its attacks are so different from the other enemies in Outriders, it can feel like the Chrysaloid is pretty unfair - but once you find a couple of sneaky tricks and learn its weaknesses, things get a whole lot simpler....

It seems there’s more to a story of a young Call of Duty: Warzone streamer being banned from the game. As spotted by PC Gamer, the news that streamer RowdyRogan had been booted from Activision’s shooter appears to have been staged. The story was doing the rounds last week – and received a fair bit of coverage – but it is in fact fake. Rogan, who’s just six years old, was taking part in the annual Faze5 competition, where entrants from around the world take part in a variety of challenges to join FaZe....
