This morning’s Call of Duty: Warzone patch brought some new loot, and nerfed a couple of the most commonly abused weapons. The Cottage Living Expansion Pack for The Sims 4 allows you to experience a “pastoral existence” in a town called Henford-on-Bagley. While enjoying life in this cozy village, you will be able to do all sorts of things. Before the end of 2020, SNK said that it would show off The King of Fighters 15 for the first time this month. Shortly before the announcement was meant to drop, however, the publisher apologised, saying it has been pushed back. It turns out, the delay wasn’t as big as most of us believed, because SNK has finally showed off the game’s first trailer today. The new game is coming this year, though SNK did not specify any platforms....

In The Last Campfire update, you can expect 20% more puzzles, and the ability to replay any of the puzzles at any time. You can also read the Wanderer’s diary, and will find multiple improvements to performance across all platforms. Expect improved controller support, new Mac support, higher framerate, and lots of quality-of-life improvements. The Last Campfire tells the story of Ember, who’s lost his way in the game’s world....

The posters show the various actors who have been cast in the series which airs on the premium TV channel on January 15. The images show Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey who is playing Ellie, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, and Gabriel Luna who will play Tommy. There’s also Anna Torv who plays Tess, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Nick Offerman is Bill, the character Frank is played by Murray Bartlett, Lamar Johnsonn is Henry, Sarah is played by Nico Parker, and Storm Reid is Riley....

Originally set to release on March 3, it will now arrive for PC on March 28. The studio wants to make sure the PC debut is “in the best shape possible,” thus the reason for the delay. “These additional few weeks will allow us to ensure The Last of Us lives up to your, and our, standards,” read the notice. Confirmed for PC during The Game Awards 2022, the recent remake of The Last of Us, now dubbed Part 1, was released for PS5 in September 2022....

This specifically refers to moment-to-moment play — the cutscenes, obviously, were filmed by real people using facial/motion capture. Naughty Dog’s 2020 survival horror hit may be due to get a PS5 patch, according to someone with a recent history of reliable news leaks. ResetEra forum member Navtra replied to a comment in a PS5 thread stating that “a patch was in the work at some point” for the record-breaking Game of the Year award winner, but they aren’t sure “if it’s still happening or when”. “I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get a patch, though,” they conclude when another user asks if they should hold off buying the PS4 game....

News that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is coming to next-gen consoles isn’t surprising considering the developer announced it would release on “all relevant platforms at that time.” Still, confirmation is nice. Along with the platforms, the developers also revealed that those who play the game should expect Gollum to look different than he does in the films. Speaking in the latest edition of Edge Magazine, senior producer Kai Fiebig suggests the character will look more like he’s depicted in the novels....

Psychological horror title The Medium releases tomorrow, and we’ve rounded up the review scores for you. In the game, you play as Marianne, a medium haunted by visions who can interact with two worlds: the real, and the spirit world. Her visions have led her to an abandoned hotel in Krakow, the site of a tragedy. Because she is a medium, she can interact with the spirit world in order to solve the mysteries of the hotel....

In this trailer, we see a series of scenes from the game’s single player campaign, featuring Task Force 141 on a variety of missions including a night raid, an infiltration mission where the team uses speedboats to approach an oil rig, as well as some hectic gunfights all with a spin on Metallica’s Everywhere I Roam playing in the background. It’s hard to gleam a huge amount of new info from this trailer, which makes sense considering it’s a short collection of clips meant to get the general gist across rather than explain what’s going on narratively....
