Square Enix has today announced that Legend of Mana, the classic PS1 JRPG, is being remastered. The remaster was announced for Switch as part of Nintendo’s major Direct, but Square Enix later confirmed it’ll also be available on PC and PS4. The Legend of Mana remaster is being released June 24, and features updated HD graphics for backgrounds, and character sprites. The announce trailer above shows off these updated visuals....

Argos, one of the biggest retailers in the UK, brought in new PS5 stock yesterday for a big drop. The available stock was depleted shortly after it went live, but not because of the usual reasons. The main problem, according to IGN, was that scalpers managed to get into Argos’ systems and snag a bunch of units before the lot even went on sale. Sources told the site that scalpers managed to get theirs one day before the drop was meant to go live....

Fans have known for a while that PUBG Corp had intentions to add bots into the mix, but that hasn’t seemed to soften the blow. “We had a thread for the news that PUBG was adding bots into public matches with update 7.1 but I thought a follow-up thread was probably fine to share some feedback from fans,” writes one ResetEra user. “And, guess what, THE BOTS ARE FUCKING TERRIBLE....

Patch 11.2 for PUBG rolled out Wednesday on public servers on PC. Among other things, the update introduces a new battle pass, dubbed Pajama Party. The NPD June 2021 report has been released, and it finds total industry spending up 5% year-over-year to $4.5 billion. Year-to-date spending totaled $24 billion, which is a 17% increase year-over-year. Hardware dollar were up 112% to $410 million compared to June 2020. This is the highest total achieved in a June month since 2008, and year-to-date spending on hardware has increased 45% to $2.3 billion compared to the first half of last year....

The first in-game event in Fall Guys will be themed around Ratchet and it kicks off on July 26 and runs through August 1. The second event is based around Clank and it takes place August 6-15.
