Solar Ash is the follow-up effort from Hyper Light Drifter developer Heart Machine. It’s quite a radical departure in terms of appearance and gameplay, being a full 3D action-platformer instead of a classic Zelda-like action adventure. The world is fully explorable, and it’s best to do this at pace, your character Rei able to glide around as if on ice skates, double jump, dash, slow time, and grapple. The moves you learn at the start of the game remain your moves throughout your journey, and this has its ups and downs....

According to Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, some of the planned reveals for PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as next-gen games, have been rescheduled in the wake of E3 2020 getting cancelled. Spider-Man developer Insomniac, who previously said that save files won’t transfer between the base PS4 version and PS5 remaster, has today announced that it’s been working on a way to make it possible for saves to carry over. Insomniac revealed on Twitter that it’s currently working on one more update for Spider-Man on PS4 that will allow players to export their PS4 save files to Spider-Man Remastered on PS5. The patch will also introduce three new suits to the PS4 game, which were only recently revealed for the PS5 remaster and thought to be exclusive....

Square Enix has announced today that Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will soon receive its last major update in arcades, as well as on PC and PS4. The news dropped earlier today in a Japanese developer stream, as reported by RPG Site. The game’s main arcade version is due for its last update this week. The same patch will be available on PC and PS4 on March 5. It’ll add Ardyn as a playable character, and make a few last balance changes, but it’s going to be the game’s last....
