On November 12, you will be able to pick up Godfall on PC through the Epic Games Store and for PS5. The game is developed by Counterplay Games and coming to you courtesy of Gearbox Publishing. It’s essentially a fantasy action-RPG featuring third-person melee combat. In it, you will be looking for loot, food, acquiring legendary armor, and trying to defeat bosses which will drop lootable items. The game can be played solo, duo, or in three-player co-op....

This claim comes from The Happy Warrior (thanks, Eurogamer), which notes that the Russian-language version of the game has been cancelled due to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. As pointed out by Eurogamer, the Russian sub-site for the game currently leads to a 404 error, with the page last confirmed live as of May 12 via archive.org. The Steam page for the game also has no references to Russian-language support, for dubbing or for subtitles, meaning that even other versions of the game won’t have Russian support....

The publisher announced a new release window and platform for its upcoming game at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2020 (thanks Gematsu). Cygames also showed off a hefty 23-minute gameplay video (bel0w) too, revealing how the game’s coming on and what players can expect from the title when it launches sometime in 2022. The game has been on something of a journey so far, but it seems the chequered and troubled development history is finally in the past as the publisher moves on with plans for the game’s release....

Guardians of the Galaxy kicked off the Square Enix E3 2021 show, and it impressed Marvel fans the world over. Originally, the game was due to release in late 2020, but the title was pushed back into 2021 thanks to development issues arising as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. If you’re super eager to get your hands on the game, you will be able to play three days early (on April 6) if you pick up the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the title. Speaking of which, the Deluxe Edition will come with a Season Pass, which will add an extra five characters, two stages, and an “extra story” to the game....

The trailer – finished in classic, flashy ArcSys style – features details about the various game modes that’ll be included in the fighter at launch, including Story Mode, GG World, Gallery Mode, and the Online Mode. Originally due to release in late 2020, the title was pushed back into 2021 thanks to development issues that arose as a result of the continuing Covid-19 pandemic. It does seem like that extra time in development has given the team time to work on the title’s launch offering, though, with the list of modes available at launch actually looking pretty decent....
