This morning, Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 developer, CD Projekt Red, revealed that its internal systems have been compromised as a result of a hack. This was discovered yesterday, according to a note posted to Twitter. CD Projekt Red said the hacker made it out with “certain data”, and encrypted some drives on the studio’s network, leaving them to discover their note to discuss a ransom. Though the studio did manage to recover some of the encrypted drives through backups, it will not be able to stop the hacker from selling or leaking the information they obtained....

Sony’s latest State of Play presentation focuses on Demon’s Souls remake for PS5. In the video, which is narrated by SIE Worldwide Studios creative director Gavin Moore, you get a look at the offline experience. Once the game releases, you will be able to discover the asynchronous and synchronous multiplayer features for yourself. In general, the remake includes very little in terms of new content. There are some new weapons, the soundtrack has been entirely recorded with a large orchestra, and the remake can be played in 60fps at dynamic a 4K resolution....

Going by the patch notes released for Destiny 2: Season of the Worthy, plenty of changes are coming to weapons and subclasses with the update, which isn’t unexpected. Destiny 2 players will be able to participate in the Crimson Days event which runs February 11-18. Activities this year include Crimson Doubles which challenges you and your partner to fight as one. New loot this year includes a Ghost shell, ornament, the fully Masterworked bow The Vow, an emote, and a pair of Sparrows.
