The date for the Marvel’s Avengers expansion was announced during Square Enix Presents today. Black Panther: War for Wakanda will add Black Panther as a playable character, who must defend Wakanda from Klaw who seeks to steal Vibranium. You can expect the content to include the Wakandan Jungle Biome, new Klaw faction enemies, and much more. Alongside the expansion this summer, you can expect new hero outfits, a power level cap increase, and a new outpost....

According to the developers, the size of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be similar in scope to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy You’ll experience a full story arc with Miles, which is an important, “heartfelt, emotional, and essential” experience in expanding the Spider-Man universe. “At Insomniac Games, we’ve loved the character of Miles Morales for a long time,” said creative director Brian Horton. “It started years ago, when Bryan Intihar (creative director, Marvel’s Spider-Man), suggested that we should have Miles Morales be a part of the same universe as Peter Parker....

Piranha Games has pushed back the launch of Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries on Steam thanks to Cyberpunk 2077. In a blog post, the studio said that it wasn’t eager to go toe-to-toe with CD Projekt Red’s eagerly-anticipated sci-fi RPG, which is set to launch on December 10. Mechwarrior 5 will now be released on Steam and GOG in spring 2021, alongside the Heroes of the Inner Sphere DLC that was set to launch at the same time....

Keen to ride the momentum of that release, 505 Games has announced it will be publishing a new game from the studio behind Dread, MercurySteam. This new game – so far only codenamed Project Iron – has an initial development budget of roughly $30.7 million. There’s not too much information about the game out there right now, but an announcement from Digital Bros (parent company of 505 Games who will co-own the IP with MercurySteam) says that the title is a brand-new IP intended for a multi-platform global release....
