Revealed earlier this year, Legends arrives alongside version 1.1 of the game on PlayStation 4 and introduces a slew of new features to the title. “This update brings the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a brand-new co-op multiplayer mode inspired by Japanese mythology, as well as exciting new updates and New Game+ for our single-player campaign!” says a post over on the PlayStation Blog. In the online portion of the update, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, you can fight side-by-side with your friends, and you’ll be able to play in two-player story missions and four-player survival missions, as well as a “Raid that [will] release in the weeks following launch”, according to Sucker Punch....

The Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will include a new island with new updates and PS5-specific enhancements for players on the newest console. Releasing on both PS5 and PS4 consoles on August 20, the Director’s Cut comes with the original game and every piece of additional content sold to date, plus the neighboring island of Iki. If you decide to boot up God of War on your PS5 from November 12, you’ll be able to select a ‘Favor Performance’ option from the game’s menu. This will allow you to boost the game to 60fps. Supergiant creative director Greg Kasavin reacted to his studio’s game winning a Hugo Award in a tweet, expressing regret that he couldn’t be there to accept on behalf of the team, but shared his gratitude at video games finally having a space at the storied awards show and thanking it for his studio’s work in particular.
