The game features a variety of food-themed courses featuring Kirby rolling through the stages in four rounds of local or online multiplayer fun. In it, you will race each other through obstacle courses to collect strawberries as Kirby grows, bumping other players off the stage and using familiar Copy Abilities – or Copy Food Abilities, as they are called in this game – to thwart the competition. Releasing through the Nintendo eShop, the My Nintendo Store, and at retail, Kirby’s Dream Buffet promises easy-to-understand gameplay for players of all skill levels but also presents a healthy challenge for those looking for friendly competition....

Nintendo has ceased to manufacture 3DS handhelds, according to a notice on the Nintendo UK and Japan websites. The notice states: “manufacturing of the Nintendo 3DS family of systems has ended,” (thanks, Nintendo Everything). Last year, Nintendo said it would continue to support the handheld as long as there was a market for it. 3DS launched worldwide in March 2011 and has since sold 75.87 million units, along with 384....

Per Polish gaming site, XGP (via VGC), the esteemed sci-fi trilogy of space operas briefly popped up on the Polish Microsoft Store with a Game Pass badge, suggesting the collection of titles might well make it onto the service at some point. News of Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to the consoles was announced during The Game Awards 2020 with a new trailer. Players can expect the same level of depth as the PC version. A rhyme which is considered racist to people of Chinese and Japanese origin in the Monster Hunter film resulted in it being pulled from cinemas in China. Constantin says it “sincerely apologizes to Chinese audiences" for the dialogue, stating there was “absolutely no intent to discriminate, insult or otherwise offend anyone of Chinese heritage,” according to Deadline. “Constantin Film has listened to the concerns expressed by Chinese audiences and removed the line that has led to this inadvertent misunderstanding....

Paul W. S. Anderson, director of the upcoming Monster Hunter movie, has said that he thinks there might be more to come from the film franchise. It was suggested by Anderson and star Milla Jovovich that a sequel for the upcoming adaption may already be in the works. The Monster Hunter movie is a strange beast. The games have a very stylised and consistent world that will be fun to see on the screen....

The first one, which is posted below, takes a look at the Hammer. It features the attacks Impact Burst, Impact Crater, the Switch Skill Swap action which will be common to all weapons, Spinning and Charge for Silkbind Bludgeon. The Great Sword is the subject of the second trailer. The ESA has announced more companies will take part in this year’s digital-only E3 2021. These companies are Bandai Namco, Gearbox, SEGA, Square Enix, and Xseed Games (thanks, Polygon). It seems there’s a new team at Sony’s San Diego studio tasked with working on existing PlayStation franchises. That’s according to the LinkedIn profile for the developer’s former boss, Michael Mumbauer – as spotted by ResetEra – which says that he helped create a “brand new, all-star” team to work on triple-A action-adventure titles. This is seemingly separate from the already-existing Sony San Diego team, responsible for MLB: The Show....

Announced in March, Nier Reincarnation is in development for mobile games, and a new trailer has been released giving you a look at the landscape. Set for release on Android and iOS, the game is being developed by Applibot, and will be published by Square Enix.
