The Simtimates Collection Kit doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, given that assets for the kit were accidentally leaked on the EA App just a few days ago. The Bathroom Clutter Kit, on the other hand, comes as a pleasant surprise to Simmers. The Sims teamed up with MeUndies to create the Simtimates Collection, creating a kit of “fun and flirty contemporary loungewear.” In a press release, EA and Maxis explain that, “it is important to both MeUndies and The Sims, that people, and Sims, feel confident and empowered in their bodies, and by extension, their clothes....

The Surge 2, Deck 13’s latest futuristic action-RPG, has a new expansion on the way. It contains new narrative content and is set in retro-themed suburban environments riddled with additional enemies and bosses. The Kraken expansion will arrive on January 16. Owners of the Season Pass can download it on that date. If you don’t own the pass, it will run you $19.99/€19.99 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Purchasing the Season Pass will net you 13 new weapons, the exclusive BORAX-I Quantum weapon, new gear sets, and the upcoming expansion....

Microsoft has updated the Xbox Game Pass app’s Leaving Soon section with a new list of games on their way out of the subscription service. This is standard with all the monthly updates, but the kicker here is that two of the bigger titles on the platform are leaving this time. The update, which does not state specific dates, confirms that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Kona, Alvastia Chronicles, and Astrologaster are all leaving soon....

According to the company, it has decided to have its in-house development team conduct the remaining work. Because of this, it is currently evaluating the “scope of work to be done” so it is postponing the Q2 release until further notice. Last year, the company said the game was being developed by its external team mainly, which is Saber Interactive. This is the company it had worked with before on Switch and also with updates in the past....

Twitch has announced a big update to banning and blocking. It’s no secret that Twitch chat can become a cesspool of slurs and harassment, but the biggest problem was that banned offenders could just come back minutes later with a new account and continue their barrage. Channel-banning an offender will soon remove them from the chat list entirely, and blocking a user takes them out of the list of followers....

French publisher Ubisoft is investigating why some PS5 users can’t upgrade their versions of Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In a post on Twitter, the company’s support account said it knew people were having issues with upgrading their PS4 versions of its games to the nice, shiny PS5 editions. “We are aware players in the UK are experiencing issues upgrading physical versions of some Ubisoft games from PS4 to PS5,” Ubisoft wrote....

Sounds like an interesting take, right? Well, for players on Xbox One and PS4, I bear bad news. Following a recent press release, it appears that The Chant might not make its way onto the consoles. Previously, Brass Token stated the game would release on Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS4, and PC, but the most recent press release neglected to mention the current-gen consoles.
