Singularity, Raven Software’s excellent, BioShock-meets-Half-Life-meets-STALKER sci-fi shooter, is actually on sale right now. The game is 75% off on both Steam and GOG, bringing its price down to $7.50. This is not quite its lowest price ever, but considering how rarely it goes on sale, it’ll have to do. The sale is available now until Monday, June 1. The time-bending, parallel universe adventure is well worth the price. It may not reach the peaks of its contemporaries, but it remains a good game with solid mechanics and a fun, mind-bending story....

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is the second entry in the anthology developed by Until Dawn studio Supermassive Games. It follows the first entry Man of Medan which was released in August 2019. You can expect a new story, legends, and new victims as each entry tells an entirely new tale. Here’s the blurb: Abandoned and all alone, four college students and their teacher become stranded in an isolated town miles from anywhere after their bus crashes in bad weather....

For me, House of Ashes’ biggest problem is tied to what it seemingly wants to be: a movie and a video game. This is a video game, but it’s one of the least interactive I’ve played in a long time. It feels a lot like a 3D point and click adventure, with the occasional QTE thrown in or a cursor you need to move to aim at an enemy. This is a game anyone could play, which is something you can rarely say, but because of this I found it rather outstays its admittedly already brief runtime....

Like Ghost Recon Breakpoint before it, The Division 2 now also offers a permanent free trial. The Division 2 trial is available now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but not Stadia. The King of Fighters 15’s roster has expanded with Chris who is part of team Orochi Team. In charge of vocals for the band CYS, he and his bandmates Shermie and Yashiro is also a member of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi. Although he has no experience in martial arts, he overwhelms his opponent with attacks that take advantage of his lightness and speed. At first glance, he is a polite and humble boy, but he also has a smile like an angel and spits poison....

No details were included, only that it mentions PlayStation 5. Unreal Engine 5 was revealed back in May 2020 and while still in early access, there are a few projects confirmed to be using the tech. Many feel this Matrix tie-in could be something akin to Epic’s collaboration with Radiohead for Kid A Mnesia, although that patricular experience was built using Unreal Engine 4....

There’s a strong argument that Game Pass doesn’t excuse bad games. The point being that you shouldn’t put up with and play through bad games simply because they are on the service you’re already paying for. Time is valuable, and you don’t want to spend it on something that doesn’t enrich you in some way. Game Pass doesn’t suddenly make a ropey game worth your attention. This jailbreak was released to the public by Twitter user Specter via a Github link. This jailbreak only works on PS5 consoles running the 4.03 firmware or lower, which would on be present on any PS5 that hasn’t been updated past October 2021. Overnight, CD Projekt published its full year 2020 earnings report [PDF], which covers the entirety of its business, including the recent release of Cyberpunk 2077, ongoing sales of The Witcher, as well as revenue from Gwent, and GOG. CD Projekt revealed that by the end of 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 had sold 13.7 million copies worldwide. PC and Stadia claimed the lion’s share of sales, at 56%. PlayStation is next with 28%, followed by Xbox at 17%....

Metroid Dread follows Samus as she is sent to explore ZDR, a remote planet where a dangerous parasite by the name of the X is surviving. After a previous expedition of seven EMMI robots fails to resolve the problem, it’s up to Samus to travel to ZDR and deal with this dangerous threat. Metroid Dread was released earlier this month and is already making waves due to its exciting gameplay - acting for many as a much-needed return to the excellent quality the series’ older titles like Super Metroid are known for....

Available through Nexus Mods, Easy Mode for Elden Ring makes the game a bit, well, easier for you. How it does this, is it reduces the damage you take by 50% and you will dole out an extra 25% in damage. You will also get 10x the runes. Not too shabby. It still sounds like you will still have a decent amount of challenge, so it won’t be completely easy - just easier....

In 2003, Final Fantasy changed forever. The core, numbered entries in Square Enix’s beloved RPG series had never seen a direct sequel - but then there was Final Fantasy 10-2. Only the second sequel in the entire franchise history (a FF anime got a direct sequel in 1994), the continuing adventures of Yuna marked a major sea change for the series. It was the first true sequel, in the west it was the first Final Fantasy game to be released by the newly merged Square Enix, and it was the first Final Fantasy to establish a narrative connection between two Final Fantasy universes....

As per comments from the birdman, Tony Hawk, himself, plans for a follow-up game were scrapped when development studio Vicarious Visions was merged with Activision Blizzard. Apparently, the publisher continued taking pitches from external developers once Vicarious Visions was folded into the mega-developer, but the company wasn’t happy with any of the ideas that were being floated. Vicarious Visions would instead be put to work on Diablo 2: Resurrected, and the THPS Remake project would halt....
