In this collaboration, a pack with the Monster Hunter series will be available through a free download on November 15, a few days after Sonic Frontiers releases. If you download the pack, you will get the special Rathalos armor and a mini game where you grill meat on a spit. If you play the mini-game in-game, it will make Sonic stronger. This is according to a listing on the rating site dug up by Gematsu. With “Plus” added to the end of the title, it suggests the publisher is going the same route as 2018’s Sonic Mania Plus which released with additional content not included initially. Described as a “spiritual sequel” to the remake Battle For Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, The Cosmic Shake is once again a 3D platformer that looks to have a variety of themed worlds, as is typical of the genre. Stylistically it’s looking incredibly good, with nice bright and vivid colours that really match the tone of the series. The showcase trailer showed off SpongeBob and a for some reason floating, tinier version of companion Patrick Star travelling around different worlds and different points in time....

The creative director of Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Dennis Brannvall, has announced that he is leaving the game’s developer DICE. Brannvall broke the news on Twitter, saying that he was leaving the studio at the end of November after eight years, but giving no indication about what is next for him. “I still remember when we first got the Star Wars contract and the entire studio meeting was filled with goosebumps and tears of joy,” he wrote....

The upcoming movie from the Wonder Woman director may share a name with a series of arcade-style games but in an interview with IGN, Jenkins has confirmed the film will have a completely original story. “We’re doing something original with great influence from the games and the books,” Jenkins explained when talking about the film. “There’s a lot of things being acknowledged and understood about the greatness of all of those things, but yes, it’s an original story and I’m so psyched to do it....

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is an RPG set to go live on Kickstarter July 27, and the development team is made up of the creators of Suikoden, and has set a development goal of $500,000. In development with Rabbit & Bear Studios, the team is made up of scenario writer Yoshitaka Murayama, and other series developers Junko Kawano, Osamu Komuta, and Junichi Murakami (thanks, Gematsu). This is the first time Murayama and Kawano have collaborated on a game in over 25 years....

Suiryu is the first DLC character to be released for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, and he will be added tomorrow, April 9. The character is the four-time winner of the Super Fight Tournament and uses his special Void Fist move to take down opponents. Suiryu’s Character Pack also includes new customization items, special moves, and missions. Alongside the new DLC comes a free update which will add a new stage, the Super Fight tournament arena....

According to the company, the game has sold over 2 million copies since it was released on September 10, 2021. As previously reported, a few days after release, the game sold in excess of 1 million units worldwide becoming the fastest-selling title in franchise history.
