You would think that some simple remasters of the first six Final Fantasy games would be a shoo-in for at the very least a Nintendo Switch release. According to a post on reddit from user keyblademasternadroj (thanks, Nintendo Everything), the bug appears in underwater levels when hit by certain damage sources. This causes Kirby to be stunned “forever,” and to fix it, you need to quit the level. Apparently, the bug was not included in the original N64 game, so it is something new with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack release. We can probably expect Nintendo to release an update pretty soon considering this is a rather serious bug....

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Naraka: Bladepoint. It’s one of the games I was most looking forward to in August, and so far it really feels as if it’s living up to my expectations. It’s essentially a mingling of the fighting game and battle royale genres - cramming fighter-like character abilities and archetypes into the battle royale format. With all the different abilities on offer and characters quite literally flying around it gets pretty chaotic - but in a good, fun way....

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition – which was already one of the worst kept secrets in gaming before its eventual reveal – may be hitting stores in March, as per a selection of retail listings uncovered by Twitter user IdleSloth84 and verified by sources at Eurogamer. Though neither EA nor BioWare have published an official Mass Effect: Legendary Edition release date (the best we have is ‘spring 2021’), retail listings from Singaporian retailer Shopitree and Indonesian retailer GSShop in Indonesia suggest the game will launch on March 12....

Sure, all the features that have made this simulator series a go-to training aid for real life pilots for the last almost-forty years are present and enhanced in this 2020 rebirth. But perhaps the best thing about this game is that it has been designed to be experienced and enjoyed by everybody - not just certified pilots in training. Starting December 7 and running through December 21, you’ll be able to play over 35 demos of upcoming unreleased games for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Much like the Steam Fest demos, some are early builds as the games have yet to be completed. This means there could be missing features and possibly some unfinished graphics, which means the demos aren’t necessarily indicative of the final product. These demos will only be available for a limited time, but Microsoft says some could come to the Demo channel later....

In the Minecraft update, you can expect elaborate cave systems, high mountains, large ore veins, and more to explore. The Overworld is getting new terrain generation, an increased world height, dripstone caves, lush caves, larger ore veins, and candles. Monster Hunter Rise has shipped another 1 million units since its last reported figure of over 5 million units. This brings the total to over 6 million units shipped. The game was released on March 26. It’s no surprise, considering the game shipped 4 million copies its first three days on the market.
