According to Ubisoft Massive, The Division 2 players will be getting a new mode in the next major update and it will be entirely new to the franchise. Players who want to enjoy the recently-launched Balan Wonderworld need to install the game’s day one patch to avoid seizure-inducing content. That’s according to the platformer’s official Twitter account, which posted that this update has removed sections of the game that can can cause photo-sensitive epileptic seizures. These were pointed out on Twitter by user Kheyehm1, who showed a video from Balan Wonderworld’s final boss battle, which featured flashing images that pose a risk with those susceptible to seizures....

The PUBG live server on PC has just received patch 6.1, the first update in Season 6. Among other additions, the highlight of this season is a new desert-themed map called Karakin. Karakin is PUBG’s smallest map yet, with a 2x2 km layout. That’s much smaller than Sanhok (4x4), the previous record holder. Karakin is set in a North African town, and is designed to mix Miramar’s long-distance engagements with a tighter, more hectic feel....

Ubisoft has yet to officially announce the Year 5 Pass for Rainbow Six Siege, but its existence is not in any doubt. The pass’ content, however, is what has been somewhat of a mystery. Not any more, thanks to Reddit user ignotusartifex, who dug up the Year 5 Pass content breakdown through the game’s files, having recently been added in an update. The biggest change this time around is that pass holders are getting six instead of eight new operators....

Rainbow Six Siege has always been in my ‘Esports rotation’, as I’d like to call it. It sits proudly alongside other favorites like Valorant, CS:GO, League of Legends, and Apex Legends. That’s some hefty competition - but I’ve got a new reason to return to the game in the form of Operation Crystal Guard, the latest update. R6S isn’t my main game at the moment, but the game has stayed consistent with its updates - which means whenever I decide to return to it, there’s almost always something new and exciting to play around with....

Resident Evil Village leaks continue as new information from a recent play test has come to light. The unverified details mention everything from enemy types, to weapons and NPCs. Someone who took part in the playtest, or at least is familiar with the demo, revealed what they know to Biohazard Declassified. Neither Declassified nor the generally reliable Rely on Horror were able to independently verify the information, so take it with a grain of salt....

Also interesting is the most “retired” (read: abandoned) games, with Valheim topping the list, with 12 Minutes, Loop Hero, The Ascent, and Outriders making up the tightly packed rest of the top 5. Another interesting stat is the longest game, which is Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous by a mile. And of course, the raw data for most people playing a game exists as well, with Forza Horizon 5 taking that honor....

I’ve just watched just over one hour of Resident Evil Village (why isn’t it just called Resident Evil 8?) gameplay that was captured on PS5. I have a document open full of notes, half-written sentences saying things like “blood on wardrobe” and “why is everyone dying on me!?” Both potential names for some phoned-in horror novels, but I mention my notes mainly because I didn’t write down anything that jumps out as something I absolutely must write about....
