When Xbox Cloud Gaming launches on the Meta Quest Store, you will be able to use your Xbox controller when hooked up to the Meta headset to play games from your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library (thanks, Wario64). While there is no date yet, Microsoft said it will share more on this “as soon as possible.” Alongside the news, Facebook - er um, Meta - announced its new headset, the Meta Quest Pro....
That is the basic premise of the Xbox Game Pass gem ClusterTruck, developed and published by tinyBuild and Landfall Games. You start standing on the top of a truck (the kind used for long-distance haulage, not a pickup). The trailer roof is your platform, but the truck is moving. It’s off, hurtling haphazardly towards a finish line in the distance. Now, you can hang around on this roof for a while, but it doesn’t take long for the truck to get into trouble, either through bad driving or the bad driving of another truck that’s ploughed into the side of the truck you’re on....

In this video, Jason Roland, director of program management for Xbox, goes over the finer points of Xbox Series S and how it differentiates from Xbox Series X. In the video, Microsoft said it wanted to build two consoles with similar next-gen capabilities at a differentiated price point, but states that Xbox Series S will deliver the same experience as Xbox Series X, just at a reduced rendering resolution. As previously reported the console is 60% smaller than Xbox Series X, and of course, it is all digital....
This is a slight change from the previously revealed release date of November 13, and apparently Sega has moved the game up a little to align with the release date of Microsoft’s next-gen console. The Xbox Series X and S versions will offer a Smart Delivery upgrade path for Xbox One owners of the game. So, basically, if you buy the game on Xbox One, you will be able to play it on Xbox Series X if you choose to buy one at a later date....
The recent release of the Cayo Perico Heist - GTA Online’s biggest update yet - not only brought a big new heist for players, it also added a new location, new vehicles, weapons and much more. But something those who don’t keep up with GTA Online may not have picked up on is that the Cayo Perico Heist can be played entirely solo, something none of the other heists offer....
Those cut down versions were previously only exclusive to PS4, and Xbox One players, as the older consoles could not support 128 players, or the larger variations of those maps. To access 64-player Conquest, and Breakthrough, just head to the game’s All-Out Warfare menu. DICE did not say how long these experiences will be available for, but they won’t be here for long. Judging by how players received the recent Rush mode event, the developer may end up extending 64-player availability....
The news comes from the game’s official Microsoft Store page, which was recently updated with new information about the upcoming dungeon-crawler. So far, the details listed are specifically tied to the PC edition of the game, which will apparently take up about 2.71GB of space. “Fight your way through an all-new action-adventure game, inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and set in the Minecraft universe,” reads the game’s official description. “Up to four friends can play together, or you can brave the dungeons alone....
A video showing the Witcher 3 mod in action appeared on YouTube yesterday, where user Halk Hogan uploaded footage highlighting how the mod’s visual overhaul affects the game. It’s been a good launch for CD Projekt Red: Cyberpunk 2077 attracted over 8 million pre-orders, the developer has revealed. In a series of tweets, the studio has shared some numbers that give us an early indication of just how well the game is selling. The developer also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 has been very popular digitally, with only 26% of the game’s sales to date being physical copies, meaning 74% were made on Steam, GOG, and the PlayStation and Microsoft stores....
Aidan Jackson, a 17 year-old resident of England, was playing a game with 20 year-old Texan Dia Lathora earlier this month when Jackson had a seizure, the BBC reports. “I just put my headset back on and I heard what I could only describe as a seizure, so obviously I started to get worried and immediately started asking what was going on and if he was okay,” Lathora told the Liverpool Echo....
Created by console modder GingerOfOz who built the Game Boy-sized portable Wii, the PS2 Eclipse runs on a trimmed-down PS2 motherboard. Along with custom circuits boards, the motherboard was inserted into a 3D printed casing. It was then fitted with PlayStation Vita buttons, joysticks from a Switch, and given a 5-inch 480p display. The handheld also features speakers, a headphone jack, and a battery life indicator. It sounds super cool, but it’s not perfect....

According to an Axios report, the suit was filed last week over what the organization feels is a rush job by Activision Blizzard to get past its current legal troubles. The NYCERS, which owns stock in the company, states in the suit the deal hurt the company’s value. The organization states the $95/share offer from Microsoft undervalues the company, as Activision Blizzard stock was trading at close to that before news of rampant workplace harassment and discrimination were brought to light....
The Collector’s Edition costs $119.99 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In addition to these consoles, the game will be released for PC. Standard editions are also available for pre-order, but they only come with the base game. Free shipping and returns are offered with these editions, though the biggest fans shouldn’t need them. This dreamy package includes a physical copy of the game (hence the console-specific listings), a 170mm tall PVC figure of AI-Ball “Aiba,” an artbook full of concept art and illustrations, and the official soundtrack for the game....
Announced tonight during The Game Awards by Remedy Entertainment’s Sam Lake, the game has been in the works in between every project made at the company by a small core team working on concepts for the game.
