There are differences, of course. The Callisto Protocol is prettier. The characters are more fleshed out, and there’s Hollywood talent in the space suits, too. The production values are upgraded. The combat, at first, is better. But The Callisto Protocol is trying to be too many things. It’s trying to be a thriller, it’s trying to be a psychological horror, it’s trying to be a sci-fi space opera about conspiracy and religious zealotry....

Tribunal is set in the city of Mournhold, and further explores the story of the three Living Gods, Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec, all of who are worshiped by the Dark Elves. Bloodmoon is set on the island of Solstheim, sitting between Morrowind and Skyrim. It is inhabited by the Nords and features a new enemy and joinable guild, the East Empire Company....

The next chapter of MMO The Elder Scrolls Online is going to be set in the region of Oblivion. A teaser trailer for the Gates of Oblivion expansion was released yesterday at The Game Awards 2020 and gave us our first look at the next chapter in developer ZeniMax Online Studios’ long-running fantasy RPG. The video features a woman having a pretty intense nightmare featuring a horned demon while a book she has… sort of catches fire?...

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD reviews have been published ahead of the game’s July 16 release, and you can look over the various thoughts and scores in our round up below. Originally released for Wii in November 2011, this is the sixteenth mainline entry in the series, and takes place on the floating island of Skyloft and the land below it. The game was eventually made available worldwide on the Wii U eShop in September 2016....

The news from Nintendo doesn’t stop there, however. First spotted by the folk over at Nintendo Life, an official listing for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been added to the Nintendo store, alongside its retail price. On the US webpage, the price for the highly anticipated title sits at $69.99, which is hefty but doesn’t come as too much of a surprise ever since Sony made the decision to raise the price of its first-party games....

For the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo has announced it will be releasing a Zelda-themed green and gold Game & Watch. The handheld console – a throwback to other Nintendo classic hardware in line with other recent Nintendo projects – will ship with four playable built-in games. The first entry in The Legend of Zelda series, its sequel (Zelda II: The Adventure of Link), and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will all be playable on the device, whilst the fourth game is the Game & Watch Vermin game with the main character replaced with Link....

In the trailer, co-founder of Player First and game director Tony Huynh takes us through the unique selling points of the game alongside some of the Warner Bros. characters we are due to see feature in MultiVersus. Speaking of characters, the game looks to be bringing a huge number of iconic IPs into the fold like DC, Adventure Time, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry and more. Highlights include Shaggy, an often memed fighting game character (which they play up in the trailer with his Super Saiyan-inspired power up), alongside Harley Quinn, Steven from Steven Universe, and Ayra Stark from Game of Thrones....

This doesn’t mean that you’ll be able to plug a Dualsense or Xbox pad into your car. No, instead the new gaming collection will be played via a connected Smartphone and the in-built Curved Display. The official press release states that the partnership between the BMW Group and Airconsole (who is responsible for the phones-as-gamepads tech used) will “bring casual gaming into new BMW vehicles”. So Mythic WoW Raiders, Warzone demons, and Rocket League zoomers may not be the target audience here....

The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller can now be used on Steam, but many of its signature features are not yet compatible. The DualSense has been getting rave reviews both from the press and early adopters of the PS5. It’s one of the defining features of the system, setting it apart from the competition. The integration of the haptic feedback with many of the PS5 launch titles in particular, suggests the great potential....

If there was a scripted scare coming up, or if you’d taken a lot of damage, or had run from some unknowable terror deep in the guts of the ship, his heart rate would increase and his breathing would become ragged. Aside from the brief, skippable tutorial, some of the more important elements of The Witcher: Monster Slayer aren’t thoroughly explained. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, a prequel to The Witcher Netflix series, is being developed by the team who brought us the live-action series. According to writer Beau DeMayo, the team went the animation route instead of live-action because there are certain aspects they wanted to include that could only be accomplished through animation. “I was aware when [showrummer Lauren S. Hissrich] came and asked me to write it, what we could do in animation that you cannot do in live-action,” DeMayo told Comicbook....

News of Tomaszkiewicz’s departure comes from a report on Bloomberg. Tomaszkiewicz’s departure was revealed in a company-wide email sent to CD Projekt staff. His departure comes in the wake of an investigation where it was alleged he bullied others in the workplace. The investigation found Tomaszkiewicz was not guilty of the bullying accusations. In the email, he stated he understood a lot of people are “feeling fear, stress or discomfort when working with me....

Created by director Brian Curtis and Infectious Designer, the trailer really is neat and shows off the lovely Appalachian region, a really cool old truck, a cave with a waterfall, a nuclear explotion, and more Fallout bits. It is really well done, but we only wish it were a bit longer. There is however, a behind the scenes video which scratches the itch a bit. As far as the game itself is concerned, Bethesda will launch Nuka World on Tour in December....

It is the sixth expansion and the fifth year of extended content for the game, and it will revolve around Savathun, The Witch Queen and sister of Oryx. You will remember the latter as the antagonist of the Destiny 1 expansion, The Taken King. The expansion will add new content across the game, including new missions, PvE locations, PvP maps, player gear, weaponry, and a new raid.
