The video shows a major difference between the Xbox 360 version and the upcoming Xbox Series X release. Of course, there are obvious differences between the two, considering another console generation launched between the two versions being compared. With the remastered release, you can expect enhanced cutscenes with improved facial animation and lip sync, improved textures and additional geometry, enhanced character models with updated hair and skin shaders, and improved lighting....

The July update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes with more special events, bugs and fish to catch and you’ll be able to swim in the ocean with your pals. The fishing and bug-catching tournaments will also return this month, and Pascal will make his first appearance on the island. Gulliver also returns with a new pirate look, though he appears just as lost as usual. This update is for Northern Hemisphere players, as this is a summer update, so if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, you’ll need to wait a few months for summer to roll your way....

Gyroids put down in your home will sing along to music you play from a record player or instrument, and change their tune depending on the backing track. Just like any other item on display, Gyroids count towards getting your gold points trophy from the HRA, so you don’t have to worry too much about ruining your room scores for the sake of enjoying the new feature....

In a press release paired with a brand new Stories from the Outlands video, Respawn describes Fuse as “the laid-back explosives expert” hailing from Australia. Apparently, his love affair with all things explosive kicked off when he was a kid, where he and his childhood mate found “a bloody beautiful grenade” that seemingly once belonged to the resistance faction on their home planet, Salvo. Ubisoft has delayed the release of the Wrath of the Druids expansion for Assassin’s Creed Vahalla. According to a tweet from the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account, the development team is delaying the extra content in order to provide a refined experience. A new release date was not provided. Originally set to release on April 29, the expansion takes you to Ireland where you will unravel the mysteries of a druidic cult while tracking and discovering their members....

AGDQ 2020 ended with $3.13 million in donations for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, it was announced by press release. That’s more monetary donations than any previous Games Done Quick event, with more than 54,000 donations coming from over 80 countries. The previous record for donations came from last year’s Summer Games Done Quick 2019, which raised just over $3 million. In total, AGDQ 2020 speedran 134 games over the course of the nonstop seven-day event....

As noted on reddit, players who have early access to the game have noticed that when playing in single-player with bots, there isn’t a way to receive rewards unless playing online with at least one other player. In other words, solo mode players won’t earn supply points, which can be spent on cards, which is a main feature of the game. Instead, solo players have to use solo decks which are a separate system when playing in this mode....

Baldur’s Gate 3 is in Early Access, and it appears there have been some crashing issues. The issues will be addressed in a hotfix, but in the meantime, the developer has offered a few workarounds until the problems are solved. For now, the team suggests switching the game to DX11 instead of Vulkan which can be changed by clicking on the icon next to ‘play game’ on the launcher. Here, you can then select DX11 mode....

Speaking in an interview with Barrons, Zampella said the team behind the game may have also been a bit too ambitious. “I think they just strayed a little too far from what Battlefield is,” he said (via VGC). “They tried to do a couple of things that were maybe ambitious: grow the player count, etc. I don’t think they spent enough time iterating on what makes that fun. “It’s not inherently a bad idea....

Season One delayed To begin with, DICE revealed that the start of Season One has been pushed back to sometime in early summer, rather than the rumoured (and expected) March date. Summer 2022 begins June 21. The developer did this to spend more time addressing the major issues currently plaguing the game, and ensure Season One content doesn’t repeat the same mistakes. As a way of making up for that delay, all players who own the Gold and Ultimate editions (which include the Year One Pass) will receive a free bundle with a Specialist skin for Mackay, weapon skins for the K30 SMG and the M44 revolver, a Bolte vehicle skin, a melee weapon, as well as player card cosmetics....

Raven has released a new patch for Call of Duty: Warzone. This is the update the studio discussed last week. Though the change log is small, the patch brings a big change to Black Ops Cold War weapons. With the start of Season 2, The Agency, GRU and Wrapped suppressors all inexplicably got nerfed, making them practically useless, as they lacked the range and bullet velocity boosts their equivalents in Modern Warfare offer....

Black Panther: War for Wakanda will add Black Panther as a playable character to Marvel’s Avengers. A release date was not provided, but the expansion is expected at some point this year. It also comes with Klaw, the Wakandan Jungle Biome, new enemies, and much more. During the Square Enix presentation, a roadmap for Marvels’ Avengers was also announced. It all kicks off this week with Operation: Hawkeye Future Imperfect which will be followed by Red Room Takeover this spring, alongside Tachyon Anomaly....
