First revealed back at Geoff’s other ads reel in the summer, the remake of The Last of Us was confirmed to be coming to both PS5 and PC, though when the latter would be coming to your computer wasn’t revealed at the same time. Now we know it’ll be coming in March (just like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor), though other than that not many details have been revealed. After you have updated your game to version 2.0, in order to acquire the Booster Course Pack, you will need to go to the Switch eShop and search for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and manually download the new DLC. If you are a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack subscriber, once on the game’s eShop page, you will see the option to download the content....

Spokko, a member of the CD Projekt Family, has announced The Witcher: Monster Slayer — a free-to-play, augmented reality, location-based RPG for iOS and Android mobile devices set in The Witcher universe. Over the holiday break, Netflix debuted all episodes of the first season of its Witcher series. Despite being based on the books rather than the games, the discussion around the show created an influx of interest into the games. More specifically, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. On December 22, two days after the show dropped, Wild Hunt broke its previous concurrent player record on Steam, climbing to just above 48,000 players....
The Witcher 3 saw the arrival of patch 4.01 earlier this week, noting that it “improves the overall stability and performance of the game on next-gen consoles and PC, and brings various fixes to all platforms.” Only problem is, as reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, that just isn’t the case on PC. Upon booting up the game to test out the new settings, RPS found that if you don’t have ray-tracing enabled, the game actually runs worse than before....
The Kickstarter campaign is aiming for a baseline funding goal of $50,000 to bring The Wonderful 101: Remastered to Nintendo Switch. Its stretch goal of $250,000 will see the game release to PC via Steam, while a further stretch goal of $500,000 will help bring the game to PS4. There is no stretch goal for an Xbox One version. Of course, this isn’t a total surprise. Having a recreation of the real thing is helpful in comparing sizes, but also in picking it apart in ways Microsoft typically wouldn’t do. One question that’s been on the mind of fans since the Xbox Series X was first revealed concerns the bottom, built-in stand. Xbox Series X is designed as a standing console, of course, but Microsoft previously confirmed that you could place it horizontally as you would with other consoles....

In their time in quarantine, Reddit user Originartwork has created a map of GTA 5 that’s entirely carved into wood. The exquisitely detailed map features all the major locations as they appear in the game’s map, complete with icons and area names. The piece even reflects the topography of the original map, with water bodies having particular depth. The same creator is even working on a Red Dead Redemption 2 map, but it’s taking them longer because of its sheer size....
Activision announced today it is adding additional pro skaters to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 remasters. According to the announcement, Nyjah Huston, Leo Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Aori Nishimura, Lizzie Armanto, Shane O’Neill, Riley Hawk, and Tyshawn Jones are joining the line-up of original skaters included in the remasters. While some of the new pros have appeared in past Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games, this will mark the first time that they will appear in the first two games from the franchise....
