As spotted by streamer Anthony Calabrese, you can see an ant infected with the Cordyceps fungus which ends up, er, pretty much destroying the human race in the PlayStation exclusive franchise on a TV in the Last of Us’ prologue. In order to see this Easter egg, you need to start the game from the beginning and play through the intro as normal....

Last night, Respawn dropped the first story trailer for Apex Legends’ upcoming Season 8. Among other things, the trailer unveiled Apex Legends’ latest character: Fuse, the Aussie explosives expert. The video also confirmed February 2 as the starting date of Season 8. But that wasn’t all it revealed, at least if you happened to check the trailer’s official Japanese version. The trailer’s description, as spotted by @TitanfallBlog, added one more piece of news: the Switch version’s release date....

The new patch, version 0.3.1, is a companion to last week’s massive 0.3.0 update. Available now on all platforms, 3.1 chiefly tweaks the rooftop objectives on Kaleidoscope, Orbital, and Hourglass in Breakthrough. Those objectives have been ultra-difficult for attackers to capture, because there aren’t usually that many ways to reach the top. Of course, defenders would usually block the elevators as attackers continue banging their heads against it. DICE’s solution is to simply move those objectives to the bottom of the buildings....
