The first Exotic quest in the Season of Dawn rewards you with the Devil’s Ruin Solar sidearm. It comes with the Close the Gap intrinsic perk, which provides it with a variable trigger that allows you to press and hold for a high-powered, staggering laser or fire as you would normally for single shots....

The company, including named defendants and several anonymous creators and providers of cheats, are also permanently banned from further creation or distribution of any software that infringes on intellectual property belonging to Bungie. As to how the lofty $13.5 million figure was reached, an agreement between Bungie and Elite Boss Tech had the latter party admit to thousands of violations of the Bungie DMCA software present in Destiny 2. Since the software which breached this DMCA was downloaded 6,765 times, with each violation representing $2,000 in damages, those figures multiply to reach the total amount....

Destiny 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass in September, Microsoft announced during its Xbox Showcase. It will include the Beyond Light DLC. The standard editions the game’s DLC will be available, but the season pass will be sold separately. Seasonal content is not included in the pass as players will have access to the standard edition of the Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansions and the standard edition of the Beyond Light expansion....

ZA/UM released Disco Elysium – The Final Cut on March 30, and apparently, there have been some issues with the PS4 and PS5 versions. To combat the problems, the developer is working on a patch. A date for the update is still unknown, but it is being worked on. “Maybe blame it on the Doomed Commercial Area, birthplace of doomed dreams, resting place for every venture. Blame it on an incursion of the apocalypse in a localized space, or whatever Tequila Sunset hits you with....

Disintegration, the shooter-strategy hybrid from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, is hosting a few beta tests later this month. Developer V1 Interactive has announced that sign-ups for the closed technical beta tests are now open on the official site. The first round of closed testing takes place on Tuesday, January 28 and Wednesday, January 29. If you sign up, there’s a chance you’ll be picked for these tests, which are available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One....

This all leads you to believe that Doki Doki Literature Club is simply a visual novel and dating simulator, and that’s where you’re wrong. Very wrong. EA is expanding its support of the cloud gaming service with these titles, adding to the weekly list of new entities in the GeForce Now library. The new games are Battlefield 1, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Unravel Two, and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. It’s worth noting the Battlefield 1 release is the Revolution offering, which cotains the base game, Battlefield 1 Premium Pass, Harlem Hellfighter pack, Red Baron pack, Lawrence of Arabia pack, the new behemoth visual appearance, and five Battlefield 1 Battlepacks....

EA has officially kicked off the beta test for its new “built-from-scratch” EA Desktop app, essentially Origin’s replacement. The new app promises a cross-network friends list, faster download and patching speeds, and easier access to your library of games both owned, and those part of EA Play. Although sign-ups are now open, EA will be letting players into it in waves. Interestingly, the announcement seems to indicate that Origin will be sticking around for a while longer even after the launch of the new app....

Fortunately, our friend over at Arrekz Gaming put together a video detailing where you can find every Grave Glovewort and Ghost Glovewort Bell Bearing, and it’s come in clutch for upgrading all the Spirit Ashes I hadn’t yet had a chance to try out in battle....

Elden Ring ending and full game spoilers below. Elden Ring is built on deception. It lies to you. Not just once, but for the entire game, turning you into an unwitting champion for a cycle of abuse and oppression. It starts at the beginning. The scene opens on a grim picture: Queen Marika the Eternal is missing, we’re told, presumably the result of some unknown third party busting the Elden Ring and plunging the world into civil war....

According to DF, right now, it’s a bit of a “mixed bag” as far as how well the game performs on the various systems. On PS5 and Xbox One X, even running on the launch day patch 1.02, the frame-rate mode runs between 45-60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the quality modes on each range between 30-60fps. Both machines run with entirely unlocked frame-rates, and much like the network test, there’s still no 30fps cap to even out the wavering reading in quality mode....

According to the results, the FromSoftware title has sold over 16.6 million digital and physical units combined worldwide (via Gamebiz and Gematsu). The figure is quite a jump from May when the company reported 13.4 million units were sold within the first month of availability. As of June 2022, Elden Ring has remained in the top five on the NPD charts since release and has been the top-selling game more than once....

Bungie dropped a new trailer for Destiny 2: Beyond Light today that offers a better look at the uneasy alliances and questionable motivations of a number of the game’s character. Europa, the setting of Beyond Light, has beckoned them all, but not everyone is happy to reveal their true intentions. We also get a little bit of an insight into Eramis’ quest to weaponize the Darkness, and how that might be akin to opening Pandora’s Box....
