The Diablo Immortal closed alpha kicked off yesterday (April 21) and added a massive amount of content to the game than we saw back during the first test in December. For the launch of the closed alpha, Blizzard has added the Crusader class to the game, and made it possible for players to participate in huge 48-player raids, as well as PvP battles. The downside? For this initial stage of the test, Blizzard has limited the alpha to a few thousand Australian Android users....

Film director John Carpenter is no stranger to video games, but it seems that the Hollywood legend is rather taken by Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed title. In a post on Twitter, the horror legend said that the recently-released Valhalla is “a return to excellence in the franchise,” before going on to say that the title’s open world is “beautifully designed.” Carpenter also says that the gameplay is “great.” The director has been pretty open about his love of video games....

This revised and expanded edition is known as Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, and it’ll hit PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation on June 30. EA has today announced that EA Play Live, the online version of its summer showcase event, will return this year. Unlike previous iterations, however, this year’s show will take place in July. Today, EA announced EA Play Live Spotlight, which is a series of digital panels connecting players with the people who make games. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) is a feature we know PS5 can support. Back when Sony officially revealed the console’s specs, the platform holder confirmed that VRR is supported on the console’s HDMI 2.1 port.
