Revealed during gamescom’s Opening Night Live, the RPG features a dark, historical fantasy setting where every decision has a consequence - both in this world and others yet to be discovered. Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the game takes place in a fictionalized version of Portugal during the middle ages. Here, players will be challenged to question both their reality and the choices they make. The Washington DC-based studio was founded by Bethesda veteran Jeff Gardiner and co-founded by former Obsidian design director Charles Staples....

The new season of Fortnite begins on February 20 and the first teaser has dropped on the official Twitter account. It shows the gold hand spotted on posters that have been appearing all over the world, with the message “Transmission Intercepted”. It looks like the next season is going to be tied to the Oro skin, as items have started turning gold all over the map. Down the eastern coast of the map, you’ll see some big electrical lines. What you might not know is that you can use them as a zipline to make a quick getaway and get around the map faster. In this challenge, you’ll need to hop on the zipline in Retail Row and ride it all the way to Steamy Stacks. Be sure to grab a weapon before you hop on so you can defend yourself from unruly snipers....

To complete this challenge, you’ll need to infiltrate Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House Lab. Once you’ve found the Lake House, the easiest thing to do is to bash your way through the walls at the foot of the staircase a the entrance. Alternatively, you can punch a hole through the floor to find this basement-level lab. You’ll know you’re in the right place as there will be several computers that read Stark Industries as well as finding his Iron Man suit in a glass cabinet....

There will be a few weeks worth of challenges to complete in Fortnite that will boost your Season Pass level significantly as you’ll be rewarded with loads of XP. The challenges aren’t too difficult to complete but are definitely worth doing when you could earn a minimum 20,000 XP per challenge. Fortnite found its fortune adapting the core tenants of another popular game. After Contraband was revealed as an Xbox console exclusive during E3 2021, many of us were left wondering what a partnership with Xbox achieved for the studio, and how its launch on Xbox-only platforms would affect the vision of the project. Microsoft Games Studios developer The Coalition has announced that it’s removing the Map Builder feature from 2019’s action-shooter hit, Gears 5, in order to allow the staff at the stuido to “focus on future projects”. If you were unclear, the Map Builder mode was designed to allow players to create custom levels for the Escape mode that came with the game (which had its own achievements and everything). 505 Games has announced Thursday that development of a sequel to Ghostrunner has officially kicked off. Though the publisher didn’t outright say whther it’s going to be a numbered sequel, it confirmed development will be handed by original creators One More Level. 505 Games, which picked up the Ghostrunner IP for €5 million in March, said the budget for the new game will be double that of the original - though without disclosing specific figures....
