South Korean developer Wonder People is celebrating the arrival on what may be the next big battle royale hit with a series of events in Early Access that will give early adopters of the game a suite of special rewards inspired by some of the world’s biggest streamers. The game has also recieved a graphical update (meaning it’s now the first publicly available DLSS 3 game!) leveraging NVIDIA Reflex to deliver some killer graphics....

Housemarque, the Finnish studio known mostly for its arcade-style games like Resogun and Nex Machina, has posted an update on what players can expect in 2020. This year marks Housemarque’s 25th anniversary, and it has big plans. Playdead, the studio behind Inside and Limbo, is currently hard at work on its third game. The new game doesn’t have a name, or a release target, but the studio’s website does reveal a few tiny bits of interesting details. For starters, it reveals that the game is a third-person adventure, which is a big change from the team’s earlier work with side-scrollers. The science fiction project takes place in “a remote corner of the universe,” according to Playdead’s description....

New World Interactive has announced the console version of Insurgency: Sandstorm has been delayed. According to the notice posted to Twitter, the development team will take the additional time to “improve the Day 1 experience” of the studio’s first-ever console title. The extra time will also allow the team to “deliver a more complete and optimized version of the game,” as well as explore the “exciting possibilities of a next-gen console release” in addition to PS4 and Xbox One....

Maybe it’s just because my team is having an awful season, but it really feels like football is melting. I’m not a Barcelona fan, and I’ve only been to Camp Nou once, but I took Lionel Messi moving to Paris Saint-Germain pretty hard.
